Australia contains a huge biodiversity and offers an incredible variety of landscapes and ecosystems with contrasts that make the country one of the most beautiful destinations of the world. Annually, millions of tourists are attracted to Australia looking for different landscapes as the ones found at Gold Coast or the intense marine life at the Great Barrier Reef, but don’t think the whole Australian beauty is related to water. Queensland tropical forests, Melbourne’s mountains, sparse deserts and large pasturage areas are some other fascinating Australian landscapes. As Australia is a country surrounded by Indic and Pacific Ocean, the country has a huge list of animals exclusive to the country. Country’s geology is typically old and flat. A big part of the Australian territory is composed by deserts or semiarid zones. However, Southeast and Southwest coasts have temperate weather and soil considerably fertile. The tropical weather is predominant at the north. Beyond the wonderful beaches found from north to south, two other destinies that are very visited during the whole year are the Great Reef Barrier and Uluru. Considered one of the top tourist destinations, the Great Reef Barrier is the world’s biggest reef, with more than 2000km of extension. Professional and amateur divers visit the reef during the whole year. Due to the warm weather and perfect for tourism and diving, there isn’t a better period of the year for visitation. Everyday is a perfect day. The Uluru, located at Australia’s Central area, is also known as Ayres Rock, is another of the greatest Australian tourism attractions, considered one of the world’s biggest monoliths. Apart from the 2 postal cards above, whoever visits Australian has the chance to visit some other wonderful landscapes such as snow mountain areas, perfect place for skiing and snowboarding, East and West Coast beaches, and lots of islands located around the Australian continent.
